The 9,200 square foot auto and motorcycle dealership is located in the Valdez Industrial Park of Santa Fe. The building sign and the BMW pylon are part of the BMW corporate identity program and were the only corporate design elements that had to be incorporated into the project.
The auto and motorcycle showrooms align with Cerrillos for maximum exposure. Steel canopies line the front and north side of the building providing outdoor covered car display. The 11 foot high showroom steps up to the two story parts storage and high bay shop area. The showroom incorporates a roadway of black porcelain tile mirrored on the ceiling with a brushed aluminum pathway. The showroom terminates with a small customer seating area against a masonry fireplace. The mortorcycle shop is located on the opposite side of the service reception area and contains a showroom where motorcycles and retail items are displayed. This facility is convenient and aesthetically appealing, it became so successful in it’s first year of operation that the owners wished they had a larger site.
